The Nations Electoral Observatory is an informational data website. It has no advertising, sells nothing and has no user accounts.

Data and content

The election results come from official public sources; their origin, licences and download dates are in the Sources section. Party names are those of the official results.

The data have been handled with care, but there may be errors. Official results should be checked in the official sources. If you spot an error, write to: kontaktua@nazioenbehatokia.eus.

No cookies

This website uses no cookies and builds no visitor profiles. Some preferences you choose (the language, or keeping the tools on the left hidden) are stored only in your browser and are never sent to us.

Privacy

We do not collect your data: there are no forms and no sign-up. Even so, to view the website your browser sends your IP address to these services, which process it:

  • GitHub (hosting; GitHub Inc., United States): serves the website through GitHub Pages and keeps technical logs of visits, including your IP address, for security. It may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards approved by the European Commission.
  • Cloudflare (visit statistics and backup copy of the website): statistics are produced with Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies and with aggregated data. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards approved by the European Commission.
  • Satellite image server: EOX IT Services GmbH (Austria, Sentinel-2). Map tiles are loaded directly from its servers.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)): providing the website and keeping it secure.

If you send us an email, we will use your address and your message only to reply to you, and will not pass them on to third parties.

To access, rectify or erase your data, or to object to its processing, write to kontaktua@nazioenbehatokia.eus. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
